Looks like we can look forward to 36 episodes over 3 years, well that's initially, however the BBC are now probably a little sore after the estimated slump in revenue and not to forget the loss of over 4 million viewers within a week. That's now behind the guys though, not only have Clarkson, Hammond and May moved, but so has the Top Gear producer Andy Wilman, and in addition the team have been given carte blanche to create their own unique car / antics motoring show. When are we likely to see the new show? Well it's looking like 2016 and that's globally, kind of makes sense really. We can't wait to see how this new motoring show will make it's marque :)
Update:- Wilman who quit over the incident involving Clarkson and the Top Gear producer, has announced that Clarkson and co will start filming this autumn. Originally the clause in the BBC contract prohibited Clarkson and co form creating a new show for a UK broadcaster for 2 years, however the clever team have sidestepped this by signing a contract with amazon Prime, who are not beholden to Advertisers - great news
It's finally here, every year back to the future day is here, however this year it's really the date and the year from the film. The 21st October at 4.29pm 2015 is when Marty Mcfly and Doc Emmett Brown land in the future in Doc's time travelling Delorean with it's flux capacitor.
The DMC car is synonymous with the Robert Zemeckis trilogy, making the Delorean a success in the film world, but a failure in the automotive world, the scandal didn't help with John Delorean and Colin chapman.
However with the launch of the Back to the Future films, the Delorean was famous, every 80s child knew the car.
There's a little history and happy #bttf2015
The Goodwood Festival of Speed has always predominantly been recognised as a combustion engine fueled event, however with the way things are changing with the future of mobility, will EV's appear centre stage alongside Petrol and Diesels? Well electric vehicles certainly figure in the plans for many car manufacturers and with Rolls Royce rumoured to be completely missing out hybrid technology and moving straight into electric mobility, the future looks to be EV.
The EU has U-Turned on it's blanket ban of combustion cars from 2035.
The new Bentley SUV has been presented at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show - however, if you want one, you will have to wait until next year, as Bentley have received enough pre-orders to completely fill all of this year's manufacturing run.
