This is the new 308 SW (Station Wagon) from Peugeot - sporting the new brand Logo of the Lion's Head!

As part of the Stellantis Brand, Peugeot has gone from strength to strength, and have paid homage to their heritage with this logo.

We got chance to have a first look at this hybrid estate car recently, and looked at the performance as well as the style. 

There are two powertrains to choose from:
The Hybrid 180 with a 1.6L petrol engine with a 12.4 kWh battery - connected to an 81kW electric motor.
The Hybrid 225 with a 1.6L petrol engine with a 12.4 kWh battery - connected to an 81kW electric motor.

Both offer over 200mpg fuel economy, and can travel in pure electric mode for around 35-39 miles.

There are several trims in the range to choose from:

The Active Premium - available with a petrol or diesel engines, and prices start from £28,330.00 on the road.
The Allure - available with petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid engines, and prices start from £30,050.00 on the road.
The Allure Premium - available with petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid engines, and prices start from £30,860.00 on the road.
The GT - available with petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid engines, and prices start from £32,890.00 on the road.

When it comes to safety, fitted as standard are:
Lane Keep Assist
Intelligent Speed Adaption
Cruise Control with Speed Limiter
Driver Attention Warning

With higher trims, there is more safety, including:
Long Range Blindspot Detection
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Driver Assist Pack that includes Active Cruise Control and Stop/Go

 

You also have options when it comes to charging the hybrid powertrain. Using a 7.4kW charger will top you up in less than two hours.
