The Yorkshire Motorsport Festival is back for 2022 including hillclimb and LIVE music!

Now in it's second year, this family friendly event will run over the last weekend in June.

During the 24th, 25th and 26th of June, over 125 acres of fields just outside of the Meltham and Holmfirth area in Yorkshire (near the Peak District National Park) the Famous Three will open the Wolfstone Hill Climb on Friday and Saturday mornings. Organised and run by the Mid Derbyshire Motor Club, there are seventy five cars competing this year, and this year the route is even more challenging.

The organiser idea is that this will become the "The Goodwood Festival of Speed of the North" meaning you won't need to trudge to the bottom of the country to experience a true motorsport festival, including a hill climb - with no less than three hills, with a distance of just under a mile.

With lots of cars to suit every taste, the daytime festivities will run from 9AM to 5PM every day. This year there is a WWII Spitfire in the fields for you to see, and 2022 sees the return of the David Brown tractor display. Joining them are Aston Martin Owners Club, a display of stock cars, and a lineup of super cars ranging from Bentley, McLaren, Ferrari - the list goes on.

During the evening, music is the focus from 6PM, and it's where you can see an eclectic mix of local musicians perform throughout the festival alongside bands like Abbarella. There will also be plenty of food and drink available across the site.

Camping facilities are also available on site, and have even been expanded due to it's popularity last year.
