FOS Ferrari Extravaganza 70th Anniversary

Ferrari 70th anniversary FOS

The Goodwood FOS is the epitome of motorsport heritage, the Festival of Speed event is fast approaching in only five weeks, we will be trackside ruminating in all things automotive.

The theme for this year's show is Peaks of performance - Motorsports game changers, celebrating the fastest, most powerful and most expensive and or complicated racing machines and the reins which they broke and how that affected the rules governing these beasts and how the official rules had to be changed e.g. Group B rally.

Intro to the Vauxhall Lineup for 2017

Earlier this year we reviewed the impressive Vauxhall Corsa 1.0T which we believe to be the best sporty alternative to the Ford Fiesta, however Vauxhall aren’t stopping there, they showcased an impressive line-up of cars at the London Motor Show for a range of markets. The real contenders are in the compact crossover (sports utility vehicle) the Crossland X and latest generation executive saloon the Insignia Grand Sport.

Mk2 Golf GTI 16V Review

Volkswagen Golf GTI 16V

Classic cars are all the rage so we thought it was about time to review one of the upcoming classics the Volkswagen Golf Mk2 GTI, the hot hatch legend if you will, this particular Mk2 is our very own car, the 16 valve 1.8. The older Golf cars have now become iconic fast catching up with the Beetle etc, they are now a very desirable car, classic and retro and of great interest to the classic car collector.

Now as you would expect this Golf isn't like the new ones as you'd expect, however how different do you think it really is? The answer is extremely different, it's considerably bigger, especially the later models, no driving assists and nowhere near as economical, but a whole lot more fun.

2017 Vauxhall Corsa 1.0T Review

Vauxhall Corsa 1.0L Turbo

Courtesy of Vauxhall we were able to review the Corsa 1.0L Turbo - the small hatch back with a punch, as we found out and it's a review unlike any other as it's our first.

At first glance we were genuinely surprised by the calibre of the car, especially for its size and the market it is targeted at. The first thing you have to ask yourself is why choose the Vauxhall Corsa over say the Fiesta EcoBoost? Well that's what we're here to find out.
