The new SsangYong Tivoli may not look too different to the previous gen, however there are changes to the front, back and even the interior - for example there is new styling round the LED front fogs, grille and headlamps as well as some shaping on the rear bumper and that's just exterior.

The interior is where you'll see the biggest changes, it has a new cluster and if you go for the ultimate you get a full digital cluster which has multiple displays some of the styling has changed on the dash, including the shaping, position of things like vents, you still have rotary dials but the central one for the air-conditioning has now gone, overall its more minimalist and flows better, and it's not just styling that has changed either, we now have new engines. Now you're likely asking is there an EV or a hybrid well no not yet, however a hybrid Korando is on the horizon, for now though we get a range petrol engines, the model we have is powered 1.2 3 cylinder, 126bhp model, you can get also get a 163bhp petrol and a diesel too.

We have the Ventura trim meaning, extras such as heated steering wheel and heated seats and some other features to.

The range starts at just under £14,000 and our model is just under £17,000, you could be really lavish and go for the Ultimate and that comes with things like 18 inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

The Tivoli is fitted with LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps which are automatic, rain sensing wipers and lots of safety including collision detection, AEB you also get cruise control.

The Tivoli is a fantastic roomy, practical, versatile car or should I say SUV, Ben could sit in the back whilst having his front seat set for his height at 6.3, this is all despite the Tivoli having sloping roof line.

Some of the biggest changes are in the driving experience the car has been developed and tested in Spain meaning it is built for UK and European roads and you can tell whilst driving it the engine is punchy sounds great as it is a 3 cylinder however I am biased because I love the sound of one of these. The suspension is quite an interesting one explaining the ride in the driving section was a bit challenging because it cornerd extremely well, and you could throw it around bends no problem, but at the other end of the scale it was very comfortable and not bumpy either, which those things don't normally go together, therefore very impressed with the setup of the suspension.

It has good brakes, to which we tested when a hen decided to run out in front of us, it can also launch quickly from a junction. Economy wise Ben got just under 30mpg and it claims around 35 so I don't think that's bad overall.

The Tivoli is great fun, roomy and it also offers an engaging driving experience and looks great too.
