Its fair to say one of the biggest limitations when it comes to the electric car is the batteries. Things might be about to change! Pioneering France-based company NAWA Technologies have devolved the new generation of ultra-capacitors, in other words a ultra fast carbon battery. The new technology has made a real impact at The Business Booster in Amsterdam.

The Business Booster conference gathers 150 start-ups, with more than 3,000 attendees over two days with 43 countries attending, the result is new sustainable clean energy solutions.
NAWA Technologies had the honour of welcoming M. Maroš Šefčovič, Vice- President of the European Commission, in charge of Energy, and Bertrand Piccard, Explorer, Doctor and Founder of the Solar Impulse Project that became Solar Impulse Foundation.

The co-founders of NAWA Technologies, explained all the advantages and potential of the company’s Ultra Fast Carbon Battery technology.

The pioneering use of aligned carbon nanotube electrodes, whch offer better balance between power and energy for a wide range of uses covering electrolytic capacitors, whether as a standalone replacement for existing ultra capacitors or in use with lithium-ion in hybrid batteries, the applications within the automotive industry could be very exciting.

What has to be stressed here is - These are batteries that are more sustainable, safer and and utilise greener technology!
