Aston Martin Bond edition

With the new Bond film Spectre just round the corner, Aston Martin have unveiled the Bond edition DB9 GT,  now this seems a wise move. As long as I can remember one of these equivocally british sports cars has been at the helm of Q branches and James Bond's inventory list.

There is a limited number of 150 models available and that's worldwide, the car is based on the recently released DB9 GT with a few secret agent additions, stylish yet subtle - like the man himself.

The Spectre is powered by a front mid mounted V12 6 Litre Grand Tourer all alloy quad cam engine 48 valve which can generate 547 ps and 620nm of torque, features a very unique Spectre silver paint scheme, 20 inch gloss black 10 spoke alloys, aluminium bonnet vents, grille and side strakes and finished with a carbon fibre rear diffuser and front splitter, sterling silver badges front and rear and hidden, well not hidden but discreet '007 Bond Edition' exterior badge.

The interior is superbly luxurious with racing, and elegance combined including numbered sill plaque embossed with the 007 logo, gun barrel embroidered onto the seat dividers and a Bond styled ICE / infotainment AMi II touch sensitive startup screen.

The performance of this great bond homage car is 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 183mph

It's great to see such a fine car after an affinity with the car maker and 007 for over 50 years, and if your after more Bond themed extras there are many to choose from.
