The city concours is nearly upon us, in just over 2 weeks the automotive garden party launches in the heart of London. Already the line-up of cars is already quite staggering and as to the categories some real thought has really gone into these. One of these being the Modern bespoke class, this class celebrates handbuilt and exceptional cars and it celebrates them with some of the rarest vehicles in the world,

including a Ferrari 550 GT Z Barchetta and 1 of only seven Touring Superleggara Disco Volante Spider and a Porsche 911 reimagined by singer vehicle design not to mention an Eagle E-type low drag coupe.

The City Concours is a luxury car event in the heart of the capital, the event takes place on June 8th and 9th, and this is an event like no other - you will see some of the greatest cars ever built including handbuilt coach style manufacturing with vehicles tailored to the individuals own specifications, meaning most of the cars on show will be completely bespoke one-offs. Rarity certainly is the word for example the Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer is truly breathtaking -  The California-based company create each vehicle through constant contact with the customer, ensuring perfection thus creating a completely bespoke car.

The 911 on display at the city concourse features a carbon fibre body finished in the Singer racing white with black lettering powered by 3.8 L Cosworth developed, flat 6 speed gearbox, a Cosworth powered Porsche a true Singer bespoke car if there ever was one.

Another one want to watch is the 7000 man hours created E-type Jaguar, the Eagle E-type low drag Coupe. Everything in this car is either new or completely upgraded it uses an aluminium body rather than the original steel and includes 2 inches extra in the wheelbase has a new five-speed box and it doesn't finish there it includes a lower floor pan, it really is the ultimate modern E-type reinterpretation.

When you think of designers you think of Zagato the famed name in bespoke coach building and the concourse will feature one of Zagato's bespoke Ferraris the 550 GT Z-Barchetta. With only three produced this makes it one of the most modern and rarest Ferrari cars in the world today. The Barchetta is powered by a 5.5L V8 - The Ferrari 550's bodywork has just had a five-month makeover, ensuring a perfect Zagato style

One of the most unique vehicles on display will be the Touring Super Leggara Disco Volante Spider based on an Alfa Romeo 8C, the donor car is a staggering car in it's own merits, however the reinterpretation has dramatic retro styling and took up to 10,000 hours to complete.

The City Concours event is organised by Thorough Events the new global benchmark in concourse of elegance and classic cars concourse. They include only the rarest and highest calibre of motor vehicles in the world ensuring a truly memorable and breathtaking Automotive event with truly breathtaking cars and outstanding hospitality. The whole show will be surrounded by a completely bespoke theme including Artisan stalls offering food, drinks and hospitality.
